Join us to learn about the Seedlings Loan Readiness Program
The Guild is partnering with Walden Mutual Bank to offer the Seedlings Loan Readiness Program—an 8-month, cohort-based experience designed to expand access to capital for emerging food and agriculture businesses.
Traditional lending often relies heavily on credit scores and personal credit history. This program takes a different approach. Walden Mutual considers character references, peer endorsement, and demonstrated commitment to the program as part of its evaluation process—recognizing that many talented entrepreneurs are still building their credit profiles.
What the Program Includes
A small cohort (6–8 participants)
Deep dives into your own business finances
Development of clear, comprehensive cash flow projections
Live case studies and facilitated discussion
Preparation for a traditional banking relationship
Participants will strengthen their financial fluency, connect operational decisions to cash flow, and be better prepared to “speak the language” of lenders and financial stakeholders.
At the end of the program, participants may apply for a below-market-rate loan from Walden Mutual.
In this info session, we’ll review who the program is for, what participation requires, and how the application process works, with plenty of time for questions.
