Many bakers dream of their ideal business. They may invest time in creating business plans, pro-formas, and menus. They dream of their ideal mixer, coffee program and bread wall. However, the real barrier to making a dream a reality is having enough money to even be able to gain access to loans.
Kobla Asamoah will talk through some of these challenges and discuss navigating the topic of access to capital. Kobla serves as Managing Partner for Caminus Ventures, which provides access to capital resources for underrepresented entrepreneurs in the food, beverage, and adjacent industries. His background in incubating food businesses gives him a unique and strategic lens in this daunting and vulnerable topic.
