Mochi Doughnuts

with Mi Kim



Learn how to make our unique mochi doughnuts! Our dough is made with rice flour so it is naturally gluten free. It has a wonderful crisp and chewy texture that is quite addicting and is a favorite amongst our customers. We will mix, shape, fry and glaze our ever so popular mochi doughnuts!

Mi Kim loves doughnuts. The infatuation started as a young child, spending weekends and summers helping out at her parents' restaurant. Her dad would stop by a local gas station every morning and they'd go in and grab a few for the road. She was so excited to choose the doughnut, deliberating as if it would be the last time she'd ever have one. It didn't matter that it was 4 am or that they had an hour commute ahead of them. She only remembered being happily sandwiched between her parents and enjoying the doughnut before drifting off to sleep on her mom's lap. 

Fast forward through pastry school, a few restaurant jobs, 10 years at Macrina Bakery and here she is, Owner and Creator of Raised Doughnuts in Seattle, WA.
