Please join BBGA and the Artisan Grain Collaborative (AGC), for a panel discussion reflecting on the different types of bread generosity that happened in response to COVID. As long as people have been baking bread, people have been sharing it. Bread is a community resource, and this past year, bakers have really supported their communities.

AGC’s Neighbor Loaves program supported the grain supply chain from field to loaf, providing a way for community members to purchase loaves made with regional flour from their favorite bakery, for a nearby food pantry.

Panelists Include:

Katherine Kerhli, founder of Community Loaves

Nate Houge, Brake Bread

Michele Huggins, DoughP Creations

Scott Mangold, Breadfarm

Alex Bois, Lost Bread

They will speak about their efforts, and inspire us to continue to celebrate the many powers of bread and baking. Moderated by Amy Halloran, author, and coordinator of AGC’s Education and Outreach Working Group.

Ready to be part of a sharing community of artisan bakers who are passionate about their craft?
