Metropolitan Bakery is looking to fill the position of PRODUCTION MANAGER at our manufacturing facility in Philadelphia PA

Position Details

• 5 shift per week (shift time varies)

• Must be able to read & write English

Experience:

• 1+ years of previous artisan bread baking and supervisory experience
• Inventory
• Food safety knowledge (certification preferred)
• Knowledge of all areas of bakery production
• Bread mixing/fermentation, shaping, baking and pastry
• Quality control
• Hiring, training, motivation
• Scheduling (includes shift substitutions for time off and sick days)
• Managing staff
• Overseeing facility maintenance
